Among the features of the three-layer walls is a wide range of finishing options for facade surfaces. The use of architectural concrete, innovative solutions for durable mounting connections, and a high standard of interior surface finish that eliminates the need for additional gypsum plasters or renders, coupled with the absence of modular restrictions, allow for individual and flexible solutions.
Designers deliberately expose the structures both externally and internally, giving them decorative qualities. The industrial style, based on the rawness of building materials, takes various forms, adapting to proportions, the selection of structural elements, and finishing materials. Concrete, combined with glass and steel, creates fascinating, contrasting compositions where the rough texture of concrete emphasizes the smoothness of other materials. The variety of shades, degrees of smoothness, and sizes of pores that prefabricated walls exhibit result from precisely tailored components of the concrete mix.
Buildings
Buildings constructed by Pekabex are characterized by high quality, user comfort, fire resistance, acoustic insulation, and thermal insulation. The use of architectural concrete allows meeting the highest aesthetic requirements of clients while enabling creative surface shaping. Prefabricated reinforced concrete elements, though freely shaped, are significantly higher in quality than those made on-site. Additionally, it is possible to give elements textures or patterns, enhancing the visual attractiveness of the building. Collaboration with RECKLI, a world leader in the production of patterned concrete molds, allows for over 250 patterns, adding decorative elements to projects.
Pekabex projects
In an interview with us, Andrzej Wójcik, a technical advisor at RECKLI, explained that the molds are made from rubber, which is difficult to compress, making them durable. Their flexibility allows each casting to be identical. The high repeatability of prefabricated elements enables the automation of production, which translates into cost reduction. Pekabex, in collaboration with the supplier, offers various prefab structures, such as wave patterns, adding dynamism and uniqueness to projects like Hyllie Boulevard 40 in Malmö.
Production automation supports architectural flexibility in projects, enabling the creation of durable, aesthetic buildings. The molds used for concrete often have a purely decorative character. Among the most commonly implemented are natural textures of wood and stone, but more abstract geometric forms also have their supporters. Prefabricated walls with decorations were also used in the Wyspa Solna residential project in Kołobrzeg.
As a pioneer in modern construction technologies, Pekabex demonstrates the potential of prefabricated walls in combination with other materials. In the case of the Träförrådet – Varvskajen project in Malmö, the focus was on the architect’s vision, utilizing a combination of brick facades with vertical stripes.
Architectural forms using molds are not limited to prefabricated walls. Decorative elements include various structural components. For example, columns at the Olivia Business Centre in Gdańsk. The architects chose a glass facade, and inside the building, they used architectural concrete. The building features extraordinary columns that, thanks to the use of molds, resemble the texture of wood.
Additionally, in the building’s parking lot, load-bearing columns are decorated with typical Kashubian floral patterns. The columns in the garage were cast from high-strength C70/85 concrete. The flexible textured mold imprinted delicate lines and flowers in the concrete with remarkable detail. For the wood-like columns, class 50/60 concrete was used.
The variety of possible combinations, combining prefabricated elements with other materials, illustrates the potential offered by Pekabex. The company not only creates durable, resilient, and high-quality structures but also provides aesthetically pleasing and visually satisfying buildings. Walls
1-layer walls (only the load-bearing part), 2-layer walls (load-bearing part and insulation) and 3-layer walls (load-bearing part, insulation and elevation layer). Prefabricated products can have any shape, dimensions, window and door openings. The maximum transportable wall can be approx. 4,10 m.
“Filigran” type ceilings
Filigran floor slabs are prefabricated slabs with a standard thickness of 4 to 7 cm with cast-in-place load-bearing reinforcement and lattice girders. For non-standard floors, we can offer “Filigran” type slabs of greater thickness, prestressed or self-supporting.
HC and HM pre-stressed hollow core floors
The panels allow quick and efficient installation on site, without the need for scaffolding, formwork and temporary supports.
Stairs
We manufacture staircase components, including prefabricated stair treads ready to be installed directly on site, without the need for additional monolithic work. We manufacture stair runners and treads in one-, two- and three-run systems, according to individual project dimensions.

Beams
Precast reinforced concrete beams, both bar-reinforced and prestressed. Typical cross-sections: rectangular, square, inverted T-shaped or L-shaped. Gabarites and design solutions are selected individually, according to customer and project requirements.
Balconies
We manufacture prefabricated balconies to fit any project, including those in unusual shapes, including those fitted with prefabricated balustrades. System thermal connectors ensure the leveling of thermal bridges.

]]>The Pekabex Group celebrated its 50th anniversary with excellent financial results. Revenues reached PLN 1.67 billion (+11.5% yoy), EBITDA PLN 127.68 million (+51% yoy), and net profit PLN 67.25 million (+65.5% yoy). In 2022, the Group performed 585 contracts, and entered 2023 with a well-diversified portfolio of orders amounting to PLN 1.1 billion. The annual production of prefabricated elements remained at a very high level, reaching 264,093 m³. The culmination of the historically record-breaking year is the Management Board’s recommendation to allocate PLN 0.41 per share for dividend.
„I am pleased to say that last year we returned to the path of record results, despite the many challenges that the entire construction industry had to face. Thanks to the flexibility and understanding of the situation on the part of our Business Partners, we managed to solve most of the problems related to contracts affected by the increase in the prices of materials and raw materials. Once again, our proven weapon in the fight against market turbulence has also turned out to be the consistently implemented Strategy for 2020-2024 “Safe Development”. Thanks to this, we first came out of the covid crisis unscathed, and last year we were able to overcome the mounting problems resulting from the war in Ukraine. We are pleased with the growth of our activities abroad, especially on the German market. Last year, exports accounted for 26% of total revenues, and our ambition is to achieve 30% of sales on foreign markets. Our financial situation is good. We still want to be perceived by the market as a dividend company, which is why we intend to share our profit with shareholders for the eighth time in a row. The proposal of the Management Board is PLN 0.41 per share” – said Robert Jędrzejowski, President of Pekabex.
The strategic activities of the Pekabex Group, in addition to automation, increasing the efficiency of processes and technical perfection, assume geographic and product diversification (prefabricated elements can be used in every segment of the construction market: warehouse and logistics buildings, production halls, stadiums, residential buildings or engineering facilities). The third, equally important area is segment diversification, focusing on three business lines: prefabrication, general contracting of investments, as well as property development. Thanks to this, the Group can provide comprehensive services within the Group, and at the same time has the opportunity to better understand the needs of customers.
„There are many indications that 2023 will be another demanding period for the construction industry, which is becoming the new market normality. According to Pekabex’s mission statement, however, we believe that prefabrication is the future of construction. Therefore, we continue the process of transforming the Group into an entity that is increasingly looking for a competitive advantage in the use of modern technologies and providing customers with comprehensive services. I see special opportunities in the residential construction market. Despite a temporary decrease in the demand for finished apartments, caused by the collapse of the mortgage market, I expect its rapid recovery due to the dynamic development of the segment of apartments for rent and government programs subsidizing mortgage loans. Reducing the number of employees on construction sites, significantly shortening the length of the investment process in relation to traditional methods by up to 40%, and greater resistance of projects implemented in prefabrication technology to sudden and unexpected increases in the prices of raw materials and materials will allow for a significant increase in Pekabex’s share in this segment. Despite a temporary slowdown, there is still demand for industrial and hall investments resulting from nearshoring trends. We can also observe spectacular investments, some of them located just beyond our western border, resulting from the planned abandonment of the use of internal combustion engines and the related rapid transformations that the automotive industry will undergo” – said Robert Jędrzejowski, President of Pekabex.

The Pekabex Group is a leader in modern system construction in Poland. The innovative prefabrication technology reduces the carbon footprint, ensures safety at the construction site, shortens the investment completion time and ensures independence from factors such as weather conditions, and at the same time is a response to the lack of construction workers. PEKABEX® SYSTEM SAFETY

Concrete is a highly durable material that performs well under dynamic loads, such as heavy rainfall. It withstands elastic deformations and large loads without permanent damage.
Prefabricated reinforced concrete structures have significantly greater resistance to high temperatures compared to other construction materials, such as steel. In the event of a fire in a production hall, prefabricated reinforced concrete elements can maintain their load-bearing capacity for a longer time than steel, giving workers and firefighters more time for evacuation and rescue operations. Additionally, concrete does not burn, reducing the risk of fire spreading further in the production hall.

Trimmer bars
We offer prefabricated reinforced or prestressed concrete replacements. The most commonly used cross-sections are constant height I-beams of type IW or rectangular sections. The replacements include the necessary brackets for supporting the girders, as well as accessories for installation, for example.

Prefabricated reinforced concrete beams, both reinforced with bars and prestressed. Typical cross-sections include rectangular, square, and shapes resembling an inverted T or L. Dimensions and design solutions are selected individually, according to the client’s requirements and the project.
Schody

Produkujemy biegi i spoczniki schodowe w systemie jedno- dwu- oraz trójbiegowym, według indywidualnych wymiarów projektu.
Docks
Prefabricated docks are primarily used in logistics and storage halls. We produce them as spatial elements and single units for integration. These elements can be made as standard or customized for specific types of gates and loading ramps.
Walls
Single-layer, double-layer, triple-layer, or maybe composite walls? Prefabricates can have any shapes, dimensions, and window and door openings.
TT Slabs
TT slabs are characterized by ribs spaced 1.2 meters apart and a smooth underside from the formwork. TT slabs are designed for creating ceilings that support heavy loads and significant spans, allowing for a reduction in intermediate columns. Rib heights range from 40 to 90 cm. TT slabs can be reinforced or prestressed.

Prefabricated foundations help avoid time-consuming monolithic work on site. To minimize construction time, we offer prefabricated foundations, such as bell-shaped footings or pedestal footings, which consist of a column with a foundation base. Bridge Beams
Tubings
Prefabricated tubings are reinforced concrete tunnel lining elements equipped with seals and contact elements. One tunnel ring consists of several tubing elements and a so-called key.

Auditoriums
All types of auditorium slabs for the construction of stadiums or performance halls. We implement dimensions and technical solutions according to existing designs or select them based on client requirements and the technical specifications of the facility.
Toothed Beams
Toothed beams serve as structural elements supporting auditorium slabs. We produce beams for auditorium slabs according to individual designs and can manufacture beams of any dimensions based on project specifications. We have realized elements with dimensions of 20 x 3 x 0.7 meters and a weight of 40 tons.
