The Management Board of Poznańska Korporacja Budowlana Pekabex S.A. (“Issuer”) informs that the Management Board of the Issuer is constantly monitoring the situation related to Russia’s attack on Ukraine and analysing the impact of these circumstances on the Issuer’s activity. The Management Board of the Issuer is not able to reliably determine, at the moment of publication of this report, the impact which the situation in Ukraine will have on the state of the European economy and, consequently, on the demand for construction services and, as a result, on the activity of the Issuer and the Capital Group of the Issuer.
In the opinion of the Management Board, the identified potential risk areas are as follows:
a) loss of employees or suppliers, the delay of services provided by subcontractors;
b) difficulties with the availability of construction materials and an increase in their prices;
c) suspension of construction works/ lack of new investment due to the geopolitical situation;
d) excessive fluctuations in exchange rates;
e) an increase the cost of investment financing and difficulties in accessing financing;
which may result in the pace of production of prefabricated elements and, consequently, the executed contracts. The Management Board informs that at the moment of publication of this report, work in the factories of the Issuer’s subsidiaries has left 102 employees from Ukraine.
As at the date of publication of this report, the Management Board of the Issuer did not notice any significant disturbances in the areas related to production and supply chain.
